Saving Time, Money, and Energy Expo a Resounding Success

Over 200 attendees experienced the Saving Time, Money, and Energy Expo hosted by The Association of Electrical Contractors on March 11th at Terrace on the Park. Over 40 exhibitors showcased a diverse mix of products, tools and technologies for the industry that will define the future and help electrical contractors become more efficient and competitive in the New York market.

Although there was no single, defining moment there was plenty of activity, and the lively crowd of owners, supers, project managers and trade personnel made the show a huge success. Thank you to everyone who was able to join us.

Congratulations to Carol Kleinberg, and all the AEC members on a great success!
Very special thanks goes out to Tony Caulo for inviting the ElectricWeb and its sponsors to participate at this event, and to Jeff Elmer and the AEC staff who worked so hard to put this event together. Much appreciation.

In case you were not able to attend, this year's event highlighted a great spectrum of solutions and innovative products from scores of manufacturers and distributors, including the following ElectricWeb sponsors:

Lex Associates (Cerro Wire)
RCR Associates (B-Line)
Thea & Schoen (Lutron)

And that defines this years’ show: lots of activity, plenty of innovation, leading manufacturers, premier distributors, great products.

THANK YOU to all our sponsors who participated to make this year’s show a significant event, and we look forward to your participation in the future.

About the Association of Electrical Contractors
Incorporated in 1949, the Association of Electrical Contractors, Inc. (AEC), has been serving the electrical industry of New York City for over sixty-five years.

Drawing on its affiliation with the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW), the AEC works to advance the interests of the unionized electrical construction industry in the five boroughs.

The AEC brings to its membership the most up-to-date information on the topics like management education, code changes, business trends and innovative technology and safety regulations.

The members of the AEC draw from the highly skilled labor pool of Local Union #3, I.B.E.W. in order to produce the work they perform including electrical maintenance, renovations and new construction.

Through the diversity of our contractors, the electrical needs of customers ranging from a few hundred dollars to over $50 million dollars can be met for both private and governmental work.

If you are looking to become a part of the New York City Electrical Industry or are looking for qualified electrical contractors to perform your work, the membership of this dynamic organization can meet your needs.
